USAID promotes the implementation of U.S. foreign policy by supporting sustainable development, humanitarian aid, and economic growth worldwide. Its mission is to end extreme poverty and strengthen democratic governance.
In Ghana, USAID focuses on agriculture (through the “Feed the Future” program), strengthening health systems, education reform, and governance initiatives. Funding is provided in areas such as climate-smart agriculture, maternal and child health, and private sector partnerships to drive inclusive growth.
